Mounjaro Journey – Day 16: “It Just Works”
It’s been a few days since my last update, and truth be told… not a whole lot has changed — and that’s not a bad thing.
In fact, that’s probably the biggest win of all: it works.
I feel incredibly fortunate to be among those who haven’t experienced any major side effects. No stomach issues. No crashing cravings by the end of the week. No dramatic swings in energy or mood. It’s all been surprisingly steady.
Now, have I been tired? A little. But let’s be real — I’ve got a young family, unpredictable weather, and all the normal pressures of daily life in the mix. Could Mounjaro be a factor in the fatigue? Sure, it’s possible. But if I’m honest, there are so many other likely culprits that it’s hard to pin it on the medication alone.
One thing I have started doing is leaning into movement a bit more. I picked up a fitness wristband to help me track my activity and it’s already encouraged me to walk more than usual. Just that small sense of accountability has helped. Note to self: keep building on that. Little steps turn into lasting habits.
So while there might not be fireworks or dramatic updates today, the quiet consistency is worth celebrating. No chaos, no setbacks — just progress ticking along in the background.
